An unused sheet of vintage metal hair pins.

Each pin is 4.5cm long and very useable - coated and smooth

The cardboard display is most attractive - probably 1950s.

The card is divided into 12 perforated sections - of 5 hairslides each.

Presumably it was these little sections that were torn off and sold

Or maybe they were so you could just take a few in your handbag..
